Three years this month I started growing my hair with the intention of not cutting it except for very minor trim to cut dead ends off. I am enjoying having it long and get a lot of compliments.
I can understand why you get compliments--what a great head of hair. Are you going to continue growing it?
Thank's Steve. Yes, I plan on letting it grow to terminal length, whatever that will be.

Not strange at all. At the age of 61 my hair is now all grey,
As long as i'm above ground i intend to keep my hair long and it's natural color, be it grey or white.
I see no point in coloring my hair, after all, at the age of 61, i'm old and getting older.
You are on the right track. Getting older is the main objective.
This is one of my favorite pictures of me in my kilt. Hope this is permissible here.
Why would it not be permissible? Being part Scottish myself, kilts are traditional to anyone with Scottish ancestry. Although I don't happen to own one, I'd have have no objection to wearing one some day. Anyway, great pic!!

I'm not Scottish but I do own a kilt. You really should try one some time, they are super comfortable. And they go very well long hair on men.

Looking great for three years of hair growth with the ends looking thick and room for long length is so desired. Thank you for setting a good example as a representative of older men with long hair. It makes it even more respectable marching in a fine Scottish kilt.
