Hey all!
Greetings from Thailand. I made my move here a few weeks back - but all is not well in paradise...
My shoulder length curly hair is hating the humidity... I'm really struggling!
Low down: I don't shampoo wash, I co-wash once in a while. I rinse with cold water after; i only t-shirt dry gently; I use Argan oil - the whole shebang and every bit of online googling and reddit advice etc, but I get horrible frizz halos and now my hair is tangling horribly also! Wash day looks like a dead rat has fallen off my head :/
I'm not keen on using chemical products - so any advice from people who also live in humid places? Especially guys with curly hair.
Thanks gents! Pardon the long read!
I have thick wavy hair as well which will dry and frizz easily. I have found that while hair is very wet, just squeezed of water, I put on a LOT of coconut oil, Ojon oil, and about a tablespoon of WEN cleansing conditioner (which is the only thing I cleanse with). Leave All of those in your hair and let air dry. It looks shiny, hydrated, and defines curls without frizz. Spritz with water in between wash days and add a little more coconut oil to ends as needed. This works for me. Have done it for years. I live in humid Florida, so the climate is similar to what you have there. Good luck, sj
Thanks SJ. I'll give a bit more oiling a go. Yeah it's very much the ends lately that get dry and because it takes to long to get dry I only wash once a week and wet it one other time.
