Check out the September 2015 issue of Male Model Scene magazine with the long haired model on the front cover and the caption "Long Hair Comeback". It's both encouraging and inspirational.

Great. That is encouraging and inspirational to a point.
One of the things they mention is "Americas Next Top Model" which I have some reservations about. Several years ago (before they had men on the show) they had an episode where the contestants had their head shaved. That turned me off from the show.
The more long haired men the better.
I have to say it's nice to see but unfortunately with the fashion industry how long will it be before they start featuring buzz cuts and how they are making a comeback:( At least for now we all can savor this .....Cheers

Fashion and long hair are uneasy companions. Firstly, because the fashion cycle takes less time than the time it takes to grow genuinely long hair, and secondly because cutting hair short is almost instantaneous.
This is why most of the trendy manbuns have so little hair in them.
Most people (even most of our own members) consider shoulder length to be long on a man, which nobody believes vis-a-vis women, and if long haired male models (with weaves?) start to appear, most men will consider themselves trendy at that length, with much shorter hair than the models in these pics.
The only positive aspect is that each time the fashion cycle goes long, it makes us look more acceptable. Of course, there are some who don't even see that as a positive, but I for one don't want to expend nervous energy dealing with idiots who think the length of my hair is their business, so I welcome it, with reservations.

I love these pics. The fact that they are published will further help people's perception on the acceptability of men with long hair.
