I am a guy and I love the BOB/PAGEBOY styles. I know that these styles are usually for girls, but I love the way that they look and move. Are these style o.k. for guys? Also, what is involved, mainenance wise, with this type of style. Currently my hair is cut to one length and it is very near the bottom of my ears. I am letting it grow out, hopefully to about 2 inches below my ears so that I can turn the ends under. Also, I have heard about a "layered bob" that has more movement, can anyone explain this to me and how to tell my stylist to do this.
I think that men can wear easily wear their hair in the styles that you described but I would suggest that you talk to a professional stylist before you go in to get it cut in either of those styles (make sure that it will look the way that you want it to).

That is good advice and I have already talked to my stylist and she told me that she thought that this style would look pretty and would compliment the shape of my face. Do you know the requirements for maintenance and styling for these styles? I will be able to say that I have this style in earnest in about 3 more months as my hair is now one length and is 3/4 of the way down my ears. In about 3 months it should be about an inch or so below my ears and I can turn it under.
Sorry, i can't help you there. I an letting mine grow out and it has a slight wave to it. Sometimes it looks as if I set it! Women react very positivly, so I guess that I can deal with it.
Where I go to school guys have lots of different hair styles, and some guys have it cut to all one length, below the ears or longer. It's not too unusual. It seems that the difference between the guys and girls with hair like that is that guys don't style it much. They either leave it natural, or dry it straight, and sometimes the ends flip up from combing it. I think if you make the ends turn under very much, that will make it look more like a girl's style.
I really like all one length and have that too, down to a little below my collar. I use a round metal brush with my blow dryer to make the ends curl under, and I think that looks nice, even if it is more like a girl's style. But I've never been able to get hair like many girls have that is shiny and has a lot of movement. I may just have the wrong kind of hair, or maybe it takes a lot more work styling it, like maybe setting it, or something like that. If your hair stylist gives you tips for styling your hair, I'd be interested to know what she recommends.
