I'm seeing more and more guys with long hair lately. And they're working at jobs that you wouldn't think would be long hair friendly.
Case in point:
I went to visit my wife in the hospital and on her floor is a male nurse with long hair in a pony tail. Not as long as mine but it was interesting to see.
And while that is occurring many women are wearing their hair shorter. I can still go into stores, offices, ride mass transit and find that most of the women still have short hair. So much for the claim that if you have long hair you look like a girl.
Hi Long Hair In Albany,
yes I have the same feeling, I think there is a trend that more men have long hair, especially in the past 6 years or so. For short haired women too. I think this is a part of the individuality thing that has been going on. People want to be more individual and look more individual.
Cheers,
Philip
I think that I've noticed more guys with long hair, too. I'm not sure if it is just because I now have "long hair consciousness", since I've been letting mine grow, or if there are actually more guys letting their hair grow.
I've had long hair since 1964, more guys are growing their hair long. YMMV.
