Even though I had been wearing a man-bun for almost as long as I had my hair long, which I started growing out in 2007, I noticed an increase in the popularity of other men wearing their hair in a bun and top knot in the past two years. If you have a picture of you wearing a man bun or top knot, I would like to see it. There is even a site dedicated to the man-bun hair style that you should go check it out:

"The man bun trend was started in 2013"
I'm not sure when I started to wear a man but it was certainly long before 2013. Probably back in the 60s or 70s when I
was biking, mountain climbing, running, etc. (I didn't know it
was a man bun back then. I just did something to tie the hair up so it didn't get damaged. Back then, as it is today, cutting the hair was not an option.
People nowdays call it "Manbun", IMHO I think there isn't something "Manly" and neither "Girly", Bun is the same for both genders.
Sometimes I wear my hair in a bun just for sleep because, if I try to sleep with it loose, it gets a real mess and very difficult to detangle it and I already woke up being suffocated by my own hair hahahaha.
Lookin' good Matthew!
I mostly braid my hair, but I'll just put my braid into a "manbun" style if I need it out of harms way. Don't need any arguments with the chain saw!
