Hey bros,
I have been allowing my hair to grow freely for sixty-three (63) months. I have had one (1) trim of my hair in Mar., 2015. At present my hair is collar bone length and some hairs extend to almost my nipples when I pull them.
I am very happy with my hair. I am definitely a born long hair. I intend to let my hair grow to terminal length. I perceive that my hair is still growing, albeit slowly.
My question to you, my brother long hairs is, is there something I might do to help facilitate the growth of my hair?.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Yes..................
avoid cutting the hair at all cost.
Hey LongHairInAlbany,
Good Advise. Sometimes I forget the obvious answer and it is good to be brought back to the fundamentals.

There are supplements that may help you to get more length. MSM is good for hair AND joints. Biotin 10 mg (10,000 mcg) per day will help too. There are herbal hair supplements as well. Make sure you get enough protein in your diet too.

Hey Scott,
Thanks for the advise. I am taking biotin already and it is helping. I will try MSM.

Great to hear, Raymond!
I've found that excessive tangling can damage hair and prevent it from reaching its full potential length. I'm not sure if you'd be having this problem at your length but periodic oilings can help with complete detangling. I prefer coconut oil to do this.
How about a photo update soon?
Best,
Jason

Hey Jason,
I have had issues with tangling since about two (2) months into my hair journey. I would describe my hair as full with a little wave. I finger comb my hair every night. Thanks for the suggestion in regard to the coconut oil. How much should I use? How do I apply it? Do I leave the coconut oil in my hair?
I am overdue for a Avodart update as well as a photo update.

I've had good results with Suave "Anti-Breakage" shampoo and conditioner.....a lot less hair in the drain filter....
