At new years eve 2015-16
I BUZZED my shoulder length hair off!!! From 13 inches to 3 mm (0.12 inches?) in just 5 minutes.
My hair has grown since then and its now at 7cm or 2.75 inches.
My hair and myself also suffering from my divorce. After 5 years of marriage I am now single at age 31, and have my own place since July 1st. We didn´t got any kids...
So. Alt 1: Should I get Hair extensions.
Or. Alt 2: Should I just take my vitamins an just wait 2 years for it to grow out.
All tips kindly appreciated =)
I was alot on this forum around 2008-2009 prioe my marriage. Ill post a picture from 2008. Same hair length as i Buzzed off in New year.
Thanks for the kind and open atmosphere in this forum. I feel very welcome here.
Take care

Hi Jim,
So sorry to hear about the divorce and your haircut as well.Funny how when things go wrong in life the hair takes the hit as this isn't the first time I've heard a guy cut off his hair due to some negative force in life.Thankfully it is reversible and being your hair was only shoulder length it won't take long to achieve that goal.I wouldn't bother with extensions my friend.Keep it natural :) Cheers

Sorry to hear about your marital split. If hair extensions help you out during this difficult time, then do it.
Get through it however you can. I wish you the best Jim.
From the pic, your hair appears to be on the fine side. From what I've seen out in the public, extensions seem go work best on guys with coarser, thicker hair. They're sore thumb obvious on guys with finer hair.
You also have some nice waves there that extensions would probably just weight down and make it look flat. Absolute length isn't everything.
Hey Jim,
I'm sorry to hear about your divorce, bro. Is there any chance of a reconciliation?
In regard to your hair I would recommend that you simply take your vitamins and enjoy the journey back to long hairdom. Getting hair extensions is expensive. Enjoy seeing your hair grow past various milestones. Enjoy doing different things with your hair as it gets longer; ponytail, braids, . . . etc. Enjoy the "awkward" stage; laugh at the different things your hair will do during this time. Post progress pics here on the hyperboard. I will look forward t seeing them and encourage you. I know that there are other bros here on the hyperboard who are more knowledgeable than I in regard to products and hair care who are only too happy to guide you in these things. See where you are in two (2) years in your long hair journey and see if you still want to do hair extensions at that time.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond

I think most guys ends up doing this at one time or another - I cut off maybe six inches total over the past year, and it will take me a year to get back to where I'd like to be - but things happen, and like one of the other guys mentioned, enjoy the passage of the months, every day you're getting closer to your goal.
I'd try to think of it not as waiting two years, but as a journey.
