I went to a concert last night and saw an old friend. He used to have long hair, but about a year ago, he had buzzed it allll off. But last night, I see him and his hair is past his shoulders..long hair! I ask him about it and he says he's been only growing it for six months! His hair had to have been about 10 inches, and it was curly, so it was even longer than that! I was sooooo jealous. Here, Ive been growing mine out for 11 months and its about 7 inches long. I realize my hair grows slightly faster than usual, but his was ridiculous!
Jason,
I totally understand how you feel. I looked at your photos and your hair is growing great. I know it is difficult when you encounter a "fast grower" like you did with your friend. I started growing my hair ten years ago at my chin and it just now is 1-2 inches below my waist. A woman I knew started growing her hair within 4 months of me and her hair was at her ears. It is now down to her thighs. I hate her! :-) But what can you do. My only consolation is that she uses more shampoo and conditioner than I do. So that is something. :-) Of course she reminds me about it every time she sees me...which doesn't help. Hang in there...it is worth it.
