This may be one of those obvious questions but need some advice. I have long hair and am very susceptible to severe sunburn. I'm not into caps or hats. My scalp burns even with my long hair. Anything I should (or could) do with my scalp to avoid sunburn?
Put suntan lotion along the hair separation. It should prevent sunburns and your scalp to flake.
Perhaps you should get into hats, not only for sunburn but future skin cancer.
I get bad sunburns but fortunately never on my head. I can't stand suntan lotion because it attracts so much dirt but where I can't keep skin covered I use spray on sun block. But on my head I wear one of those hats with a soft brim all the way around. Not the most good looking thing but I burn and blister in sun within 30 minutes and can't sleep when burn on my shoulders-head burn would be unbearable and skin cancer does run in my family.
