  I've had problems with my side hairs for years-it stays short and frizzy and now it's grey and wiry. I shaved most of the sides a couple months ago thinking that hair was damaged and would hopefully grow out smooth and longer than 2 inches. Now it's starting to get frizzy again but I want to moisturize it this time.

  Does hair pomade do this? If not, what kind of cream should I look for?
