Hey, yes I cut it. Im going for the Matt Bellemy from Muse when it gets abit longer. I am much happier with my hair. I am still the same person, just with shorter hair. I have tried long hair, I didn't like it, I tried shorter hair, I like it. So why have loing hair? It just wasn't for me. As long as we like our own hair who cares how we style it? So don't give me any abuse about conforming etc, I like it better than long hair. I didn't cut it because people wanted me to, I did it because I wanted to.
I am still lurking and will post, but I probably will not be a long hair again, by personal choice.

P.S I will soon get a pic up of how my hair is now, and why I cut it and I think you wil all agree.

No-one has any reason to be mad at you, anyone who does and talks about intolerance among the short haired community are hypocrites.
