I'm posting an update on my hair progress.
The other day I made the mistake of not tying the hair up.
Long story short a good chunk of hair got damaged so I had
to hack off about ten inches of hair to even it out.
I'm not happy about it, it's been alot of years since i've had
hair that was this short. I hate it. The good news is hair does grow back. I started growing my hair long in 1964, it was in the 1960s that my hair was this short.
The lesson from all this is I should have taken the extra few
seconds to tie the hair up.
I've been wearing it more often in a pony tail, bun or braid but
0n this day I neglected to do it and paid the price for it.
(I've attached a photo.}
Hey LHIA,
I'm very sorry to hear that your hair got damaged to the point where you needed to loose that much length.May I ask what exactly happened?A very long time ago I got me hair caught in an electric drill I was using at work and yes, my hair was loose at the time.Thankfully the moment I realized what was happening I let go of the trigger and ended up with the drill chuck up against my head,Fortunately I didn't loose any hair in that accident but I learned a hard lesson from it.Now my hair is always protected at work or any other circumstance that would put it in harms way.I believe this is the first time I ever saw your hair in a current pic this close up.I have to say your hair looks in great condition otherwise.Cheers

I'm not really sure. It was very windy day, and the hair must
of gotten caught on something and i didn't notice it at the time.
(Maybe in the car door? Or the car window? Or maybe the door to
one of the buildings I entered? I'm not really sure, I just noticed a large chunk missing later. I have noticed a number
of times over the winter my hair has gotten cuaght in the car door. But that hasn't resulted in damage, Maybe this time my luck
ran out.)
Hi Mark,
My gosh I sure am glad you didn't scalp yourself! I have heard stories of people with long hair having mishaps but nothing like that! Please don't ever do that again! Hope you're doing well my friend. About another month and I will be at the 1.5 year mark. I'm trying to maintain patience.

Hi LHIA,
I am sorry to hear of this. But I have duly noted what you have said so I may avoid this situation. Thank goodness hair does grow back albeit slow. I like the color of your hair. I do appreciate the update though.
