I hate being forced to watch advertisements on YouTube before my videos starts, and now I saw a commercial for Dove shampoo when I was going to watch an episode of a video podcast about video games. Im not hear to rant about YouTube ads, though.
The ad asked Whats the difference between a mans hair and a womans hair? I thought there wasnt anything to compare or contrast! Then again, I cant address enough the lack of men with hair below waist length, so maybe theres a point being made.
But, here comes the worst part: The man answering the question in the ad mentions Tangled (but the source material, not the movie itself) to back up his claim that women have stronger hair! But, thats not all. My least favorite movie of all time is erroneously referred to as a nursery rhyme. Seriously?!
Now, let me calm down and make my point: Do you all really think men cant have the same hair as women? That could be a rhetorical question, but length isnt the only thing that makes locks luscious for some reason.
The differnce between male hair: hint there isn't any
Difference between male hair and female hair
I read somewhere that there is a difference in the composition of male and female hair. Mentioned was that female hair on average is typically richer in certain minerals. Whether or not this is true is for a person who tests enough samples of hair between the sexes and among people encompassing all ethnic and racial types. Nonetheless, if health, age and genetics work favorably, men and women can grow extremely long hair despite the sex differences. We also need to examine the reasons why women might have more mineral rich hair too.
I just discovered theres more than one commercial answering the question. Some have answered that men have stronger hair, so theres people on both sides of the debate.
