Hello you guys. I've posted here a handful of times, but not recently. I started growing my hair about six years ago, at the age of 43, and after having tried all through my teens, twenties and thirties, I finally got my hair to the length I've always wanted.
Part of the reason I was able to do it was because of this forum. The encouragement is really helpful in world where most people really don't like long hair on men.
I'm also gay, and ... I don't think I realized how few gay guys like long hair until I had it. My sex life is a desert these days. But having long hair is so great! I finally feel like myself.
Recent photo attached! Cheers.

Hi Mârk! Thanks for the reply and the encouragement.
Hey BG ! Your hair is extraordinary. I can only imagine how much fun it would be ;)
I could never figure out why gay guys always have such short hair ,generally.
A long haired guy ,like you, stops me in my tracks

Vino! Thanks! I never understood gay guys wanting only super-short hair. Sometimes I hear men point to a guy with three inches of growth and say, "he's cute but I don't like long hair, no offense."
Its so weird. I've always associated long hair with a certain type of masculinity, one that's looser, freer, and cooler. Short hair is for military men trying to fit in! IMO.
My friend , I think we have a lot in common.
Men . . .Long Hair.
E male me , lets chat

My sex life too is a desert and I have long hair too. I am not gay though but secretly wished to have been born the opposite sex since preschool. We get what we're handed, circumstances. Do the best we can with them.
