Hey! been a while.
Just wanted to share my current (new) journey, I posted here many years ago when my hair reached my waist (and later to my hips), all before I had to shave it off due to military service.
After that period was over I haven't had a single trim since and learned to embrace my curlier texture and to take better care of it. This length is about ~40 months since my last buzzcut, here's for more growth onwards and downwards!
Hi Yomaku,
WOW, that is indeed very impressive growth for only a little over 3 years, your hair must grow extremely fast!!!
I've known of other people, both male and female, whose hair has changed from straight to curly -- or, visa-versa... I've always been amazed by that.
Re. my own hair:
when I was very young (ages 0 - 19 years old), my dad kept my hair so short that I never knew until my early 20s that it had a natural wave to it. My dad was in the U S Navy during WW2 -- and from as far back as I can remember, he always had one of those flat-top short haircuts, and insisted that all of his sons had short hair, too.... I always hated it (LOL); but as long as we lived in his house, me and my brothers were given NO CHOICE about the short haircuts issue.
... So, imagine my surprise once I reached my early 20s, gradually growing my hair out "long-ISH", that my hair was actually wavy, rather than straight...
Keep on doing your excellent hair-farming practices, Yomaku, your mane is looking hands-down TERRIFIC!!!!
