I search for a ponytail holder like the ones we can see on Highlander TV series wore by the main actor. They're also shown on "On Being a Longhair".
I had found the officials seen on TV series for sale on eBay, but I also discovered that it's just an elastic with a piece of metal. I thought that was a hair clip.
The big problem are that elastic is non-replaceable being held by a bent piece of metal. Of course, it could be replaced, but you know that when you bent metal over and over again it finished to breaking due to fatigue, so replacements are limited.
I had searched on the internet, but I found mostly stuff for women. I want something more for men, I like the ones with Celtics patterns, ideally made with silver.
Do you know websites where we can buy this (and ship in France) ?
Yes, I looked up the Highlander holder back when the series was still on and noticed it was just another one of those elastics with a piece of metal attached. You can get those of all types, but I don't care much for the either. For one thing, elastics always seem to stretch out after a uses and I end up replacing them.
It might be possible to modify the back of the metal piece such that it would just clip onto any ponytail band after you tie it in. That would seem like the best way to do it. In fact, I've never tried this, but I bet it would be possible to clip a suitably shaped clip-on earring to a pony that way. True, those are made for ladies, but there are so many designs (many available very cheaply on eBay I'm sure) you could probably find something suitable. Now that I mention this idea. I think I'll try it myself and see if it works.

I had also thinking to solder a piece of metal to maintain elastic but I don't know what metal it is. Some metals can't be soldered.
I found an online store that sells this kind of clips but it seems to be out of business.
