Hi,
Google have a tool called "trends" to show how a query evolve over time since 2004. I entered "men long hair" and the result is that this query is in constant increasing.
This just show that more and more people search for "men long hair" on Google, and we can hope that one day long haired men become something normal.
Google trends ''men long hair''Here in Europe, long hair on men causes less surprise than the more conservative parts of the USA. Sometimes, people will tease me about it and offer to cut it for me! Long-haired men are still definitely in the minority, but the prevailing attitude is "each to his own".
For me, the important thing is not to make it an "identity" issue but just be as unselfconscious as possible and just get on with people in general. Perhaps it is different in America...
Hi(gh)!
This is probably the reason why there is no German-speaking forum dedicated to men's long hair at all... it is just no real issue here! We have www.langhaarnetzwerk.de ("long-hair network"), which caters mostly to long-haired women - there are a few men, but they are wary to keep a low profile, dedicated sub-forums do not exist, even single threads on male long hair are very rare!
Must be a Genderism thing...
See you in Khyberspace!
