Hello,
I found the time to upload a recording I made in October 2020. It was autumn, it was a nice day, I'm glad I went out, because 1 week later, most of the leaves were fallen down :D
I hope you're all well! Keep it growing
Cheers,
Phil
Hi Philip,
Great to see you post another fantastic hair update again as they are always a real treat and very inspirational. You've achieved nice length and one wonders how much longer your hair will grow.Knowing you I'd figure terminal length would be your goal at this juncture. What product do you use to keep all that hair healthy looking?Anyway welcome back and stop in often my friend.Cheers

Hi Mârk,
thank you for your nice message! I wonder myself how long it is going to grow / how long I will let it grow.
I'm using Aleppo soap every 5 days. Then a apple cider vinegar rinse (mixed with water), after each wash, as a leave in. Also as a leave in coconut oil in the lenghts roughly once a day. My current wash is that I use a water-only rinse in between the washes.
When I look closely, it does not look as healthy, but thank you for saying that! :)
Thanks for your reply, hope you're well!
Best,
Phil
Hi PhilipZ,
Nice length!
I have a question for you with your very long hair and the others of course. How do you wear your hair for sleeping? What's the best way to prevent damages?
I tried many things: loose, ponytail and braid. Since few days I put them in a bun at the top of my head, not in the rear so the bun don't touch the pillow and hair are preserved from friction and tangling. That's what I think, but I can be wrong.
Thank you, Jesus Forain!
Sorry for my late reply! I definitely think that braids and buns are more protective than sleeping with loose hair.
Until i reached hip length, my favourite way was to do a side braid. Optional: put it between two layers of t-shirts.
However at some point the braid was so long that I was damaging the ends whith my hips. I thought about what I could do and I found a solution that works for me. I do a center part and a normal braid in the back, a little loose for more comfort. Then I need to wear a shirt with a turtle neck or a neck gaiter scarf or a tube scarf. Those scarves are for cycling. I wrap the braid around the neck and tuck it into the scarf. I pull it in the front so I have more space around the neck in the front. It may take some time to get used to it. But this way the hair is protected between the shoulders and the head. I can roll and it's all good :D
Sometimes I go to bed as I am, no matter what the hairstyle is.
I hope this helps!
Best,
Phil
