During the Bordeaux (France) fun fair, I noticed an increasing of long haired man. I also had noticed the same thing during the previous fair in October 2021. In the crowd, long haired men are quite common, and it's a matter of seconds to see one.
The most common hairstyle is the bun or top knot, with some variations like undercut. Others have loose hair or a classic ponytail.
Most of them have shoulders length hair and few have them longer than that. I haven't seen someone with longer hair than me.
I also notice the same trend in ads and various illustrations pictures (magazines, websites) it's not rare to see a man with long hair or a bun.
I don't know what is the trend in other countries, but it seems that men with long hair is becoming something normal.
I hate trends and fashions. I have only ever wanted to be myself and be free. I don't go along with fashions. I would not like long hair to become "cool" and fashionable.
I'm not a fashionable person either, but I'm pretty observant and I would say we long haired males will be exceptions to the norm for the foreseeable future. The frequency of long haired males seems to vary a lot be locality or various niche interest groups. You'd probably be more likely to see them at a fair than a downtown business person's lunch spot, but what the heck. We're here and we're not going away.
I've definetly noticed more guys with long hair. I've also noticed more women with short hair.
I also notice an increase in men with long hair, in my city (Montréal, Quebec).
For every city block I can see between one and three guys with long hair (shoulder length or longer), in crowded streets of Montreal.
Have a nice day.
Georges.
I noticed the same in Germany. I think that there are more men who have long hair and it's nice to see. It makes it easier for people who want to grow it out. Yes I think it's the same with ads in magazines.
I certainly hope so. I love long hair on men and women alike. Its SOOOO attractive!!!
