Beautiful length and texture - and the braiding is a fun style for your hair!
I need to practice braiding. I am no where near being able to do it on my own head. So tricky!!
It interests me being Native American, what people from cultures on the other side of the world do with braiding. In my cultures, men traditionally mostly have long hair of some cut. Braiding is used to communicate different things in different tribes. In many tribes braided long hair frequently indicates availability for the opposite sex. In many tribes, if a man has braided hair it signals that a woman is with him. If the hair is unbraided it means the man is available for women in many cultures. I do not braid my hair myself and never would. In some of my cultures the woman who were to be with me would be the one to braid my hair as a signal that she and I were together. If she left me, my hair would not be braided anymore. I prefer to leave my hair loose, and not in a queue. This way my hair can show the texture, thickness and length much easier. It also helps cover my neck to keep it safe from sun burn. Same with my ears frequently. There are some other reasons for having long hair, but these are spiritual and I am not going to talk about them here.

It's basically what you feel comfortable with regarding your goal length.To me it would be fun to at least try for terminal length, whatever that may be, as it differs for everyone.Do it when your young as that's the best time of your life to achieve the longest length.Please keep us posted on whatever you decide my friend.Cheers.

the higher ponytail looks good. im glad you feel comfortable wearing it that high. i could not do it first time i let it grow. next time it gets ponytail length, i will wear it high in public with pride.
i also want to braid it in public next time it gets long enough. first time i grew it out i was always nervous abt looking feminine.
next time, i will not have those nerves.
I was nervous about people and their opinions. Growing my hair has taught me one thing, and that’s people don’t really care. Also, as I get older, I care less about what people think of me. You just have to do what makes you happy.
