Hi all,
I thinking of running for a representative post in my company, which in itself, has a rather inclusive culture. I usually do not have any issues with anyone (no odd looks, passing questions or awkward tones) even when I wear my long hair down, on a single braid, double-braids or a bun.
I am inclined to use this picture for the election, which I don't think it's your “usual” election photo, and wonder if it lacks professionalism.
Any opinion(s) will be appreciated.
Thanks :)
Jin
Hi Jim,
It’s great to see that you have found our new version of the MLHH.
Unfortunately, I cannot see your photo. I know that posting photos is different than it used to be, and that Jesus Forain indicated that he had posted instructions on how to post them. When I posted mine earlier, I had to upload the photos first, then the second, important thing to do is to “insert image”, at time it should turn green, then you can hit the “send” button to complete your post.
David
He hasn't uploaded the image, there is noting on the server. Even if the image wasn't inserted, it should be present on the server.
Hi,
I've inserted my photo in “bmp” file format under the “Upload images” section. I am trying again here in this reply.

Hi Jin,
Your photo came through perfectly this time, and your hair looks outstanding, shiny and thick. That’s an excellent photo for you to use for professional purposes.
It’s clear that you’ve kept a fantastic head of hair through the years!
David
Hi Jin,
Your hair looks amazing, it looks healthy, thick, and is perfect on you. And you look great in the suit, too. I love the color - you pull the whole thing off very well!

Hi Jin,
Your photo is good and your look is awesome with you long hair and suit. You seems to have Asian origins, I find that Asian guys have the most beautiful hair, they are thick and straight.
I like wearing suits, it's beautiful, I like this style. Where I live (Bordeaux, France) it's rare to see a guy wearing a suit, but you see guys with long hair everywhere!
Hi Jin, that's a great photo of you for its intended purpose.I see nothing unprofessional about it at all.Your well dressed, well groomed, and present yourself very well. Your blessed with the type of hair you have as you can almost wear it in any style for work and it would look proper.Good luck on the position your going fo mand do keep us posted my friend.Cheers.

Hi Jesus,
It seems that a number of people are having difficulty figuring out how to post photos. Although you have excellent instructions below, it might be useful to have a separate link on the left hand side, with detailed instructions from A to Z.
Also, although I know that it will take time to update all of the FAQs, there is one item, the very first, actually, where it talks about registration, and no need to register, and in fact, the inability to register, but that was only with the old site. At the very least, this should be revised to reflect the new site, that creating an account is the preferred option now, and also enables one to edit their own posts if necessary.

I did just a copy n paste of the old MLHH, I know that these sections needs to be rewritten. I'm working on fixing some minors bugs and performance issues.
