Hello everyone,
Yesterday after washing my hair and allowing it to air dry, I thought that it looked half decent, so I made a short video. I hope that this YouTube link works, and that it works as a clickable link. With my 73rd birthday right around the corner, I’m happy to have so much of the stuff, lol! Also, please excuse the noise in the background, which is the combined ticking of over 30 clocks. I wasn’t going to stop every one of them only to have to start them all up again afterwards!
Thanks for watching!
David
Hi David,
Nothing like a fresh wash to lighten and fluff up your hair. Nowadays with the heat and humidity I need to daily wash my own hair otherwise its flat and lifeless looking unless I'm inside in the A/C for the day. You've done a great job mastering you video posting skills here as I don't recall ever doing a video.I like videos as it shows so much more than run of the mill still photos.Anyway thanks for posting your update. How often have you been washing your hair this summer?Maybe your fortunate to not have the problem I have.Today will be a henna redo day since its been over a month since my last treatment.Supposed to be an unsettled day weather wise so those kind of days is when I plan for this.Cheers.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your kind words, and this is another one from my YouTube channel. I also joined Instagram a couple of weeks ago, and posted this video there as well. I don’t think that you’re on IG, or at least I haven’t found you when doing a search anyway.
My hair is fairly dry, so I only need to wash once every 5 days. Although we’ve had some very warm days, it’s nothing like what you’re going through, and thankfully, most of the wildfire smoke from northern Canada has bypassed us to the west. Today is another sunny day, but we will be getting some much needed rain tonight and early tomorrow.
It would be cool to see you do a video sometime!
Thanks again,
David
Good Morning David,
I do have a Youtube account but honestly not sure about Instagram as its possible I opened an account but then never used it.Guess I'd have to try and login and then use the forgot user name/ password link and see what happens. However I'm mostly on Facebook for better or worse. In a way I like it since I use Marketplace and have bought and sold items through it plus its free to use. Most people I know are on it so I just stick with it.However I'll try to make time to do a Youtube video then see it I can figure out how to post it here.
This past Thursday was the absolute worst here regarding the wildfire smoke. By late afternoon it was so hazy and you could definitely smell it. Friday was a better and yesterday it rained so that cleaned the skies as its sunny and clear this morning for now.Cheers.

Hi Mark,
I had no idea that you had a YouTube account, and now I have to try and find it, lol. I only joined IG 2-3 weeks ago, mainly for being able to have access to the longhaired men photos. Instagram has a forced log in requirement to view anything, so I finally broke down and joined, and there was actually a fellow YouTuber who encouraged me. I’m only there for the hair, and that’s the only thing I discuss, and I stay away from sharing personal stuff. You should be able to recover your password as long as your email hasn’t changed.
I do all my videos with my phone, and they are all “shorts” except for a few of my clock ones. There’s nothing particularly hard about posting there. Just go to your video on your phone, and there should be an option to post to your YouTube channel.
We had a very nice rain last night, and we needed that rain. It’s over for now, though. Fortunately, the smoke has stayed away from here, and I’m sorry that you’re experiencing such poor air quality. It’s not good to have such poor air quality with the World Cup soccer final today, right in your area.

Hi David,
You have beautiful hair, look straight and no fizzy.
Hi Jesus,
Thank you for your kind words. My hair is nice and straight on wash day, but it does get wavier with humidity, probably 2a hair then. In winter , when it’s drier, it does remain quite straight.
Thanks again!
David
