...The hair 'experts' I've read, always claimed hair grew at
a FASTER rate in the SUMMERtime than at any other time of year...
...I have always found this very difficult to believe--especially
now that autumn is almost upon us and my hair growth
seems to have SPEEDed UP!
...Anybody have personal experience and thoughts on this matter?
actually a faster rate during the summer would make itself apparent at the onset of autumn... your observation only supports that.
...he..he..
...but...
if there IS a difference...
....HOW MUCH of a difference could it be, anyway?
2 possible ways of answering that:
1. do research to find anything written about seasonal differences or,
2. do a hair measurement yourself now and follow up monthly, charting your own progress commiting to no trims for a year.
you will have one sample for your own information. any other person who wishes to do likewise- the best participants should be early into their growth and should commit to a year with no trims.
i doubt theres much truth to it...... its possible though that its to do with the extra sunlight. sunlight is useful for healthy skin and i guess hair too. perhaps though its got something to do with general health as we seem more prone to illness etc in winter
Skin cancer and premature aging is not healthy.
Or should that be 'are not healthy'? :P
