Just A curiosity, I guess, how do all of us longhaired folk travel? I have been curious about this, and since so many polls about location and stuff have been going on, I figure this is fair game.
Private Vehicle, Bus, Carpool, Walk, Fly, Boat, Ect.
If a private vehicle, like a car or truck, suv, what kind/model/brand? I am curious what style vehicle we tend to most often drive, and if our sense of stlye in cars goes along with our great sense of style in apearance. Since so many say your vehicle reflects on your self, personality and such.
I will start by saying I drive turbocharged dodges, from the eighties, the time of cool cars, great music, and big hair! I have two turbocharged 88 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z's, and a turbocharged 89 Caravan ES
I drive an Iron Hourse MT500R bicycle. Oh yeah, ph33r the guy without a drivers license.
I'm a dad with kids and a teacher with stuff! I drive an Isuzu Rodeo and sometimes a Dodge Caravan. And quite honestly, I wish I lived in a city that had a decent public transportation system. I deeply suspect that oil (and our consumption thereof) needs to become a quick thing of the past.

Saw pics of your cars they are awesome man!Does your hair attract the ladies or the cars?
It's not a real car, unless it bears the 3 pointed star!

i drive an old beet up torres with about a hundred things wrong with it which dosent seem like it's going to run much longer
simply because i'm poor :-) and can't really afford a decent car, can barely afford this one
I drive real sexy stuff: 2002 Saturn SL1 and Chrysler Town&COuntry minivan. Yes, I'm a family man.
Oh yeah: and a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja 500R.
If they'd get a decent Metroplex wide Public trans. system going, I'd use it. Until then, those are my wheels.
I usually travel by means of my car (98 Ford Mustang) although since I moved to college lastnight, I'm going to be walking constantly. I've also got a 1992 Chevy S10 custom. It's my baby! It's in the shop right now, while I'm building a new custom interior/stereo.
I used to have a '90 Dodge Daytona turbo, but it was a piece of crap (too many problems to try and list). Now I drive a '92 Mitsubishi Eclipse (1.8L). It's more of an economy car than a sports car. I sure love the 35 mpg (highway) I get! The only time it's been in the shop was for a timing belt change at about 80K miles (I'm at 91K right now). Later.
1994 'Stang GT Convertible...low mileage, hi maintenance, big fun.
(wife says it keeps with my "dot com" look)
and 1996 Saturn SC1...hi mileage, low maintenance, small fun (but, still fun).
Got a photo on this site (that I will eventually get around to developing).

My current (and first) vehicle is a '79 Ford F100
that I bought from a friend for $200. I've since
paid rather more than that for parts and repairs.
I could tell you a story about replacing my
transmission.....
Unfortunately it's (again) not running right now,
but I love my truck.
I also get around a lot on my bicycle
(a Giant Option hybrid). Nice leisurely
way to travel, and you don't have to pay
for gas ^_^ .
For me, it's a car.
My main transportation is a 1982 Volvo 242 Turbo with 243,000 miles. I also have some older Volvos, and my family has three other Volvos. We're mainly a Volvo family. Although, we do also have a 1988 Lincoln Mark VII and a 1989 Cadillac.
