Hi!
Some time ago I said that I had experienced no reactions to my hair as it grew. My partner might have said she preferred it shorter, but other than that - nothing.
Here is the update as I near shoulder-length. A female colleague likes it, she says she's always liked long hair on men. 2 of my nieces, both under 12, absolutely hate it. They have been brought up in a broad-minded family and are fairly PC, but obviouly this doesn't extend to their uncle having long hair!
And...maybe it's my imagination, but more females seem to 'make eyes' at me!
Cheers!, B
My oldest 3 nieces (9,10,11) like it. Their dad's hair is as long as mine, but was short when I first met him. It's probably a reflection of their parents' views (in your case as well). The kids are going to pick up any comments their parents make -- true or not. Later.
What do kids know anyway?...yet...I trust that you'll teach them a better way to think about hair.
