I have fairly curly, fairly long hair, going through the infamous 'awkward stage'. At the weekends, my hair is lovely; fairly straight, and puffy. However, on school days, my hair tends to curl randomly, even though I do exactly the same to my hair as I would do on a weekend!
It doesn't curl at school, it starts to look weird even before school, but during school it just gets worse and more curly and horrible.
Why could this be?
In a lot of school systems, they don't have air conditioning due to state school budgeting not allowing it. Therefore, schools tend to be more humid than the regular household, and even more so than outside the school. Humidy+Hair=Havoc. Just my guess, though. Peace!!!!!
the same thing happens to me! My school has a good a/c so I don't think it's humidity. But still my hair almost always looks much better when I'm not at school. Maybe it could be that I'm rushing from class to class trying to be on time etc. which makes me sweat and that makes my hair start to curl in random places and look very ugly.
Maybe...just maybe...your hair senses you are nervous about
how your hair looks and then it reacts.
Well, that's stretching things, but really...
when you worry about how your hair, clothes etc. LOOKS..
..I'll be damned if things don't always go wrong!
AM I the only one who notices this???
I don't think this is the explanation you're looking for, but that's life, friend. In all modesty, I think my hair looks pretty fine when I catch myself in the mirror before I go to bed (the time when I am least likely to have anyone notice). During the day, however, my hair will only look decent... Maybe that's just fatigue distorting my perception... Anyway, I think it's just one of those "why does it always rain on me" things...
