It seems that these days most people have short hair. Its the fashion... In the fifties, everyone had short hair. I think it was even worse than now. But 10 years later, everyone started to grow it. Don't give up... Someday long hair will come back into fashion. It can happen anytime!
...I doubt if Longhairs will ever be 'the Fashion.'
True, in the 1960s hippies era it did become the fashion...
...but will it ever happen again?
Hopefully NoT!
If it does, I hope the attitude of peace, kindeness, and love for fellow man comes back with it, not just a bunch of asshole people with long hair.
not just the 60s... in the 1700s (in england) it was very fashionable to have long hair, everyone had it. even the politicians.
I'm comfortable with the way things are now. I mean, what is so important about fashion??? I could care less if I'm not sporting a popular hairstyle. I don't understand why so many people want long hair to be so popular.
I rather it not be popular. I'm growing out my hair for the enjoyment of it. Let people stick with their shaved heads, military cuts, and other styles while I'll have my own thing going. It's all good in the end.
The idea of long hair becoming in-fashion scares me.
I think there is more long hair about than there was, say, five years ago. Lots of men seem to be growing their hair. And shaved heads are becoming rarer (not surprising as it only takes a few weeks to grow out a buzzcut)
I would like to see men grow their hair long - there's safety in numbers and it will become more generally acceptable. Having said that my hair's been growing for a year now and I've had no problems.
