My hair is almost shoulder length and I've grow it for almost two years now. It should've been longer except for the fact that six months into my growth period, a ruthless barber "trimmed" off a LOT of my hair off. Therefore, I refuse to go to the man's barbershop again.
But now, even though I can have a good-lengthed ponytail. There is a slight aberration> The front of my hair is somewhat longer than the rest of my hair, so I can never let my hair down without it looking kind of funny. Actually, when I let my hair down, it just looks weird.
I want to go to a salon to have a decent trim that'll look good when I let my hair down ( the front hair slightly shorter than the rest of my hair, and rest of my hair looking kind of layered) I mean, I don't quite know what I want, but there's another issue.
I want to dye my hair to a different color, just strands of it or whatever, I'm pretty relaxed about what I want, I want the hear the advice of others. SO how much will all of this cost?
Well, first you want to find one or more reputable hair salon that will do what you want to have done, then compare costs. Prices vary wildly, thus it's virtually impossible for any of us to be able to even wager a guess. There's a salon in my area who specializes in long hair, and they charge $28 for just a trim (but a damn GOOD, *CLEAN* trim).
My ponytail is over 18 inchess long and I'm a professional person. I think that the people that make fun of long hair are those who are afraid to try it. I haven't cut my hair in 4 years and aside from taking a little longer to wash and blow dry I wouldn't change it for the world. Also I'm not a young person either. I'm 47 years old. My S/O Has a ponytail that is over 20 inches long and I LOVE IT>>>>>>
If your planning on dyeing your hair have it done professionally. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE STUPID BARBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
