new thread
i gotta say i'm surprised to discover a resource like this site... kinda drives home the point that i'm part of a demographic. it's good to know that there are other 'longhairs' out there... who are willing to talk about it. hair length is not a comfortable discussion to strike up with another guy. what a discovery-- long haired men carrying on a mostly intelligent discussion about their hair.
i've endured the stares and off-color remarks & have determined that i will not empower an unenlightened person to embarrass me. there will always be judgemental people out there... so i guess that growing my hair out has given me occasion to become more secure with who i am & to develop the ability not to be affected by the attitudes of others. do they realize their negative input is the last thing that will convince me to cut my hair?
my goal? i dunno... i don't think i have a specific one. the very end of my 'tail' reaches my belt, though most of the rest isn't quite that long; somewhere in the 25-30 inch range, i guess. perhaps someday i'll have it cut- maybe never. possibly when i finally meet the woman i'll marry...?
