Hi all!
My last haircut was on July 15th, 2002. My bangs are now a little over three inches long. I think my hair grows at about 1/2 inch per month, or maybe a bit over.
My question might be a bit stupid, but I'll ask it anyway. Do bangs grow as fast as the rest of the rest of hair? I assume they do, but I wanted to ask people who have been growing their hair out for a long time. I don't plan on getting a haircut... ever again. By May of this year I want to look like I'm definitely in the awkward stage. Thanks all!
... by next may you should have an additional 3-4 inches. 6 or 7 inches is enough to continually fall in your eyes yet not reach a ponytail. you will be wearing either a bandana, doo rag, or baseball cap. you will be well into the awkward stage if you haven't cut out of exasperation.
Thanks for your input, guys. Now, if I can only get my hair to grow at an inch per month...
Don't worry about it. My bangs have taken their sweet time, and they're a lot shorter than the rest of my hair. They'll catch up eventually.
My last haircut was around July 9, 2002. My bangs are around 2.5 inches now (they were about 3/4 on an inch at my haircut). It's funny that you wrote in about the "bangs" question, because I'v been finding that my bangs and sides are growing quicker then the back of my head. It should be interesting, though, to see how we each are next summer since we both had our last haircuts within a WEEK of each other!
BTW, at your last haircut, how long was your top, sides and back?
