When I was a kid I had light brown hair and I had these blonde spots on the right side of my head (around the temple) and on the back of my head towards the bottom. As I got older, my hair in general got darker. I still have the blonde patches though, they're even more obvious now. Is this a fairly common thing? Do they have a name for this 'condition'? What causes?
Thanks in advance.
i have had the same exact problem, when i was young my hair was REALLY light blonde, then it stared getting brown when i was a teenager but i had a spot right in the front that stayed REALLY light blonde while the rest got dark but that cleared up on its own in a few years
now strange thing is my hair stayed brown for a few years and now it's changing collor again!, now it looks like a "dirty blonde" collor plus i've got some grey coming in
so it's starting to look kinda strange
My hair is almost platinum on the top, but the sides & back are way darker, about dishwater blonde. I guess its because the sun bleachs it. I have however found that some random areas stay light blonde, like it never changed (I had almost white hair as a child, until my teen years it darkened.)
I had blonde hair until age of 18, then it slowly changed to a ash blonde(dirty blonde?) I am 25 now and my bangs have blonde patches that you described, it's weird but what the hell, atleast it looks different.
People actually highlight their hair to match our look that we
get naturally :)
hmmmmmm...think I'll wash my dishes elsewhere.....he..he
