My wife and I came into a rather large sum of money a few weeks ago, and were able to buy a few toys with it after paying off bills. One of the more important toys was a new computer. In addition the computer, however, we were able to buy our very own SCANNER! So, without further adue, I'd like to share with everyone a few pics we had taken at our wedding rehearsal(sp?). These were taken 3 1/2 years, when my hair was quite a bit shorter than it is now. Enjoy!
Let's try this again.
One more time!
sir,
with all due respect, might i suggest posting at your site & include the link in your message... i noticed the image url only includes a filename & not a website + directory route (http://www.provider.com/~yoursite/wed1.jpg) please excuse the intrusion... hope this helps, though.
That's a WONDERFUL idea, and I would absolutley LOVE to, but there's just one glitch: I no longer have a web site. My wife and I switched servers recently, I took down my site from the old server, and haven't had a chance to move it over to the new one.
Thanks, though, for the suggestion. You did, however, give me another idea. I'll simply upload the pics to the old server. :)
Here's another thing you can do. You can post pictures to ftp.the-light.com (use anonymous login). Once connected, go to the pub directory. Copy your image to that location. Then you can refer to your picture as in this message (ftp://the-light.com/pub/image9.jpg). Notice that you have to use ftp: and not http: as you normally do.
This is a picture of me a couple years ago with a four strand rope dangling from a French braid.
Thanks! I'll do that! :D
Your pic is missing!

It's not missing. However, if your browser does not support displaying in-lines ftp documents, it will not appear. That, obviously, is the main drawback for handling pictures this way.
No. It was a browser malfunction! It work now!

glad i could be of some assistance... though i'm sure victor would be a better source of suggestions that me. having decided to learn html with only source code to instruct; i'm well aware of the frustration of trying to find out why the *phuque* a particular image isn't loading or code isn't working. just pursuing my own belief in doing random acts of kindness. if my hair doesn't make me wierd, that does. good.
