Just wondering if any of you guys have had any nicknames, based on your hair, that really stuck. For instance, every one of my friends calls me Sunshine now because my hair apparently looks a lot like the character's going by the same name from the movie "The Titans". Bah, not good for my chances with the ladies though, some assume Im gay because he is, oh well. I've even had people I dont even know call me sunshine, lol!
So, what are some of your nicknames and the story behind them?
There's a few people at my school who call me "Jericho" and there's this one girl who calls me "Triple H" because they think my hair resembles that of the WWE wrestlers Triple H and Chris Jericho. But I really like those nicknames :)
OK, Let me get you right...you havelong hair because of wrestling? HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Ermm....yeah. It was certain wrestlers who inspired me to grow my hair long. What's wrong with that?
maybe pillow, mgm lion, or mr brocc
too hard to explain
a girl used to call me her "little hairy man" cause of the hair and facial hair and all that. (the little part was b/c she was one year ahead of me in school)
tons of other nicknames but none hair related.
lately I get called JC, Jesus, And hesus, I guess that is the spanish equivilant.
Even my neighbor with hair longer than me with a beard called me that, but he was teasing and said he gets called the samething. his mom says we both look really good, like twins.
Jesus for me as well. Some of my friends know my only as Jesus, JC, or even Jesus Christ. It's easier for them to remember, and I don't mind.
the 2 names i've been called are
Caveman (which was insulting at the time but is funny now)
,and a friend called me "Cactus" (as in Mick Foley) which sort of stuck, hense my screen name :-)
people used to call me hanson... haha
Back in about 1974 I was known as Goldilocks as I had shoulder length wavy blond hair.
The original Goldilocks, you will remember, was the one who ate the porridge belonging to the three bears.
So far, the only two nicknames I've been given are "Elvis" and "Bufont Boy" by my wife since my hair in the morning, or when I don't use gel, looks poofy and I've only been growing for 3 months. I'm sure I'll get new names as the hair gets longer. Oh, and I don't mind the nicknames! :)
Hmm, after I started really growing the hair/beard combo, a couple of guys I went to high school with started calling me Yoder the Amish Hippie.
And ditto on the Jesus issue.
