First off, let me start by saying that when you buy a cheap 20 to 30 dollar PC camera, that is exactly what you get. That or I need better lighting in this room, like true day light maybe.
Anyway, here is the best so far that I have been able to get my hair into a ponytail. There are no gels or styling agents whatsoever in my hair, I just pulled it all back as good as possible and banded it getting this result:

And the "best" is all one can do. Looks great, and..........think what it will look-like 1 year from today! Gives your features great character and will be absolutely stunning compared to the present "no hair to bald clone-look" so popular now. Afterall, should not one be themselves.........their own individual person and NOT a follower of a bunch of "clones?"

How long have you been growing it?
I've been growing my hair somewhere around 1&1/2 years I suppose. I didn't keep track of time from the last time I buzzed my head because I hadn't at that time made a concious decision to grow my hair long. The decision to grow it long came later on when I saw that my hair was getting longer. My bangs are around eight inches long with a few straightning up trims along the way so it is probably 1&1/2 years give or take. Peace!!!!!

I just realized that you lost the goatee...I think it looked good. I've cut my fu manchu/goatee before, because my wife would tell me that with the growing head hair along with the facial hair, there was too much hair. Anyway, I grew it back 'cause I liked it. Recently, she saw an asian martial arts movie with a dude with a fu manchu and long hair that she thought looked like me and now she is looking forward to the my head hair matching the facial hair...go figure. Do you have these kinds of situations with your missus?
My wife pretty much takes me with or without facial hair. She has mentioned before that she likes my mustache, but I also just shaved it. After shaving it she said I looked nice. I can't grow facial hair too well, so it pretty much fluctuates with me. Thanks for the compliment though. Peace!!!!!
