...since my last haircut. hehe
cool chris! how long is it currently?
2820 daye since my last haircut
almost 8 years -eh?
thats was just a guess its over 7 years
about 3/4" :(
every journey begins with one step.
Somewhere past 5040 days for me.
Think you got what it takes to stick it out for at least a few years, Chris?
Why would I be kidding? Everyone's got to start somewhere. And yes, I can stick it out; I've had long hair once, I can have it once more.
Just saying that you might wait a bit longer for the "progress report". 3/4" hair and the last haircut only 18 days ago qualifies as "short hair" in any definition of the term, don't 'cha think?
There are a fair number of guys who come to this board all excited about growing long hair but don't last very long. We'll support you if you are for real but "The proof is on your head".
Well.at 5040 days there goes my belief that you're still in your twenties. I'm sure you take great care of your hair --- but your incredible mane has as much to do with great genetics as well as fine care of your hair, don't you think? Now if only there were some more gay men with hair as great as you yours, there would be more gay longhairs.....with the exception of Madoc and perhaps one or two others here (and a handful on Dognut's site), I feel like a minority within a minority.....gay, longhaired (to midback), and over 40! So thanks Hair Religion...for your wit and wisdom and for your encouragement. My hair isn't as long as yours yet....but i'm hoping to become a true beliver....in about 730 days or so.
Ya, just turned 35 (same as everyone else here has or will), started seriously growing in '88 and never looked back. When people hinted (or more) at cutting it, that just made me more resolved to continuing because I could see their attempts to control me and make me conform to their ideals which had no good reason behind them. Why would I ever want to be the way Joe-Shmo wants just because he wants it that way?
Make a decision for yourself, have good reasons for it and then stick to it!
As a training tool that has never been recognized, growing hair is a great trainer for young people to teach them about how to stick to something.
I totally lost count, it dont matter to me how long its been growing, at least its growing lol
