As per my earlier post, you know that my longest bangs now reach 9 inches. Unfortunately, my bangs are very uneven: longest towards the front, then shorter the further to the sides they are. Should I get the long bangs trimmed to the same length as the shorter ones, or should I just leave it alone? I'll admit, I would hate to lose that length, but I don't really like to have that unevenness, either... What should I do?
LEAVE THE BANGS A-L-O-N-E. Just be patient!!! You will reach a point where the "evenness" won't make any difference. Don't trim, don't do a single thing! Patience will reward you with the length of hair you desire.
Or get them trimmed after your hair has grown a few more inches so losing that length won't matter as much.
I had that problem when I was growing my hair long. I recommend letting it grow for a little longer, then get it trimmed to even it out. that's what I did. My hair got a lot shorter because of it, but it looks so much better having it all one length. and it'll grow out again so it's no big deal.
Hey, did you just start posting at UM in the opeth/offtopic section?
Yep, that's me at the UM Opeth forum. I'm also on the Nevermore forum, and I lurk around at the Symphony X and Borknagar forums. What's up?
