Do any of you get queesy or sick to your stomach to even see a serious haircut. There is a tv commerical with a guy cutting his hair that makes my stomach literally curl and I almost gag.
And I think it is because hair takes SO LONG to grow...
that the very thought of CHOPping it OFF is sickening & depressing!

Every time my father gets his hair trimmed, I feel like vomiting. I think I'm affected by the following factors:
1 - He nags me the most about cutting my hair.
2 - He's very much balding, yet he spends loads of $$$ on BS products trying to re-grow his hair. It seems mighty strange that he'd cut that which he's trying to grow out. I don't even get why he'd bother trying to re-grow hair, seeing as how he never hesitated to keep it short when it was plentiful. He always kept it cut so short that he might as well have been bald, yet now that he IS balding, he wants hair, only so he can continue to cut it short to the extent that he looks like he's balding but actually isn't!
yes. it would take a while to try to describe why. not just time, but the beauty and wonderful natural feeling of it, being taken away, very much feels to me like when a really huge and old tree is cut down. i definately know what you are saying.
That's exactly the comparison I make. I value trees as much as I value hair.
