Ok....first time long-hair grower here.
I wanna grow my hair long right....now the question, do I just leave it and not cut anythin or do i have it trimmed around the ears and the neck or what?
I know this might be a strange question but I realy need to know.
Thnx

Just leave it alone. Do not cut anything for two years. Then even up the ends at that time. Repeat. If you want long hair, don't cut it.
Indeed, don't let scissors get anywhere near your hair. No trimming for at least 2 years. After that a vey short trim to even them out.
You could shave the fuzzy neck hair below your hair line on the back of your neck, but NOT your scalp hair. Only get a trim when you achieve the length you want to be at.
If you don't mind having somewhat scruffy looking hair, then just bear the two years. I couldnt stand it, so ive gotten two trims in the year ive been growing. Also, dont cut the hair around the ears, itll look awkward as the rest gets longer if you keep triming it. I would aslo just bear the mullet period, i cut it off but kinda regret it, it looks so much shorter afterwards.
I agree with the others. I've only started letting my hair grow out a few months now and my longest hair I have on my head now is about 3". I had a trim around my ears and neck and I'm sorry I did it. It would look much longer had I just left it alone. Deal with it and you'll thank yourself afterward.
