Maybe it's not about what a god wants. Maybe it's YOU who wanted to be a priest for "god's people".
Also a perfectly valid reason to do what you are doing.

Yeah, that's definitely not me! I just found that today and thought it was pretty cool. I had never seen a long-haired priest before.
