Somebody's question make me realize that 1000s of years ago...
there actually was a treatment counteract the awkward phase...no kidding...
A while back, when we were discussing Absalom & his hair,
I read that he used to put oil and GoLd dust in his hair...
WHY, I thought...
Well, since GoLd is very HEAVY, maybe it weighed the hair DOWN...
sort of like when longer hair is weighed down by its own weight/length...
Maybe nowadays they could use industrial gold...
Never actually heard of such a product...but who knows?!
Any thoughts?
Just one thought:
Why not use Gel or Fudge or Gum or Mouse or wax?
I don't know..just thought it might be a great new product to
market for $$$$$$!
I dunno man - wouldn't it be kind of expensive to produce, i mean, gold, one of the most precious metals??
Gold dust would weigh very little unless you placed a bag of it on your head. There would be more weight from the oils added to the hair than gold dust that would stick to the oil. It also might be relevant how fine the "dust" was. Flakes, chunks, grains, pebbles, nuggets all would have different weight properties but you would need to know if it was panned from a stream or pounded into fine dust.
