hi, my ponytail is about 9 inches long, and i will like to cut part of it off. my question to you guys is if you know of any technique for cutting the ponytail off in one snip (without letting the hair down), and actually make the hair look straight when let down? i have seen this done a long time ago, so i know it's possible, but i can't remember how it's done, and there's no room for trial and error. your help would be much appreciated. thanks a lot. razz.
I don't think this is possible. If you did attempt it I'd wager your hair will be many different lengths when let down
if you cut your hair when its all pulled back it will end up longer in the front no matter what. if you dont want that, then cut it when its all combed straight down and wet. a good idea is to cut it slightly longer than you actually want it, so youll have some left to correct any mistakes.
I think you owuld end up having the front be longer and as you went back your hair would get shorter and shorter. but if you pull this off youre very talented.
