I know a bunch of you guys hate the mullet, but here is one case
where it worked great. I you grow out the back to where it will
fit into a nice ponytail, the growing out stages are painless
and if you work in a corporate world, it makes the progress less
noticeable. Worked for me.
Then once established, growing out the sides is a lot easier
with the back allready grown out.
The whole awkward stages is not much of an issue.
Plus you get to anticipate the stages 2 times.
So easy on the mullet!

That sounds like what Shawn Michaels did. His hair looked really cool as he grew it out
