I was just curious whether anyone noticed that,
in one brief scene in the second Harry Potter
movie, the elder Malfoy had his long blonde
hair tied back with a black satin ribbon.
Unfortunately, I could not locate a relevant
picture but I personally thought it looked
completely awesome. If my hair was blonde I
might try it myself. Maybe a different color
ribbon...
I supppose I'm just curious whether anyone
here has tried such a thing. Cheers to
the Harry Potter film folks for such
wonderful portrayals of long haired men,
and may Richard Harris (Prof. Dumbledore)
rest in peace.

Just stumbled across this looking for something else. So, decided to comment.
I used to have blonde hair (dyed, of course), and I've tied it back with black ribbon. Not velvet, just black. It looks good in a low ponytail, at the end of a plait of braid (thin), and perhaps a snood, but not anything else. And I wasn't wearing long robes, close though. Three quarter dark red velvet coat. ^_^
Guys with long hair are hot. Ponytails look good, too. It doesn't really matter what color hair it is. I love guys with long hair!! Lucius Malfoy is HOTT!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm not sure with long hair but somehow everytime i look at Lucius Malfoy, i can't keep my eyes off him, especially in the movie 'the patriot;
I also noticed Lucius Malfoy's super sweet hair ribbon.
