I have made the decision, much like Treyn, that I'm going to grow my undercut out. It was fun at first but the novetly of it wore off and I'm beginning to miss what my hair was like when it was full. I probably should've never got the undercut but it was something I always wanted to do and I probably would've done it sooner or later so I don't really regret it. But having this undercut makes me appreciate more what it's like to have full grown hair, so that's good too. Thus begins the journy again...hopefully it doesn't end up being as awful as the first time around
i really dont see whats so bad about having an undercut.. look at it this way. you dont have to wait as long for the front to get long ..
How? An undercut doesn't make the hair in front grow faster...
I think he means how it is right now. my hair in front is already longso I just gotta wait for the sides and most of the back to grow longer
I guess you have to have one first to see it's downfalls
Thats cool, I think a full head of hair looks more mature and presentable than half long & half shaved (no offense, just my opinion) So are you going to start over from scratch or just grow the rest out? Either way good luck.
Yeah, I agree. a full head of hair looks better, but I'm 16 so I guess it isn't as frowned upon due to my age. I'm just gonna grow the rest out and keep trimming the already long hair so that the shaved hair can catch up.
in response to you obviously saying i dont know what its like to have an undercut well i basically do have an undercut infact my hair is practically the same as treyns cept its more wavey. so doesnt seem as long
Oh, sorry man. I just assumed you didn't have one. If you like the undercut style then that's cool, stay with it. After a while I just realised I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.
What downfalls???
I had an undercut for several years myself. I did that because I thought my hair would be too thick if I grew it all out. It was an extreme undercut, everything shaved but the top of my head. It felt really cool having the long hair hang down against my scalp and I loved it at first but then it got old. I then decided to grow it all out and I did. I like it much better full and will not go back to the undercut.
That's really cool. My undercut isn't as extreme as that though, but I know what you mean by feeling the long hair against the scalp. What was it like growing the undercut out and how long did it take?
Good Luck, then...
And since you have learned more about your hair...
the 'second time around' should be better because
you will know about all those 'litte problems' ahead of time!☺
So another one bites the dust.
