Anyone else psyched about Lord of the Rings?
Talk about a great longhair movie! Granted most of it is probably wigs but in the setting of the movie it's not too hard to pretend. I noticed Viggo (the actor who plays Aragorn) has longish hair now dyed blond.
I'm going tonight...I CAN'T WAIT! The Two Towers looks to be even better than Fellowhip of the Ring.
Totally awesome movie. I've seen it twice already.
I'm not too into Viggo's new hair. I liked it better before. (You can see it in the special features of the first DVD) I don't think he wore a wig in the first movie.
I read that the only person in the whole movie who didn't use a wig was a random hobbit extra who had naturally perfect hobbit hair. Viggo's hair at the time was a lot like Aragorn's, but probably cleaner than the wig. ;)
I'd never even thought of that. Guess he had to fit with the "All that is gold does not glitter" thing. (I think I got that right, but I'm kinda tired, so you'll have to forgive me if I didn't.) But I guess I'm kinda cool, 'cause I just found out tonight that if I don't comb it, I have hobbit hair. It looks just like in the movie, except slightly shorter(For now). Now if I could just shrink myself down a couple feet. I'm 6'3", so it might not work out quite the same way. Maybe I could be a kind of Hobbit/Man hybrid. Kinda like the Uruk-Hai of good guys.
Yeah, Legolas had OK hair but he was an ELF. I HATE elves. Too...elvish. Sauruman, now, that's what I want to look like when I'm old. Long white hair, robes, twisty scary hands and really creepily insane *lol*
And yeah, the Battle of Helm's Deep you can keep. The Battle of the Plennor Fields and the Battle of the Morranon were ALWAYS better in my mind. Why bother with swarms of fighting Uruk-Hai when you can have the Nazgul on their Foul Beasts and the Hammer of the Underworld and the pitiful last remnants of hope for the outnumbered forces of Light....*shivers*. Stupid good guys. Poor Sauron...his boss told him to do it! Really!
Plus Barad-Dur will always be the Best Evil Fortress Ever.
