Everytime someone posts a progress pic I really want to see, it never shows up. "Page cannot be found" then I get to read other people's replies of how good it looks. Can't we just have one thread were everyone posts WORKING pics?!?!
Well, the problem really isn't on any one person's shoulders. Too many free file hosting services prohibit linking directly to their sites. As a result, when someone tries sharing a link to a photo they've put on the web, it shows up as invalid.
However, many people who frequent this forum know how to decypher HTML source code (myself included) well enough to figure out the url to the picture, and then simply copy and paste the link to their browser.
Basically, it involves right-clicking on the post containing the link to the picture, tell your browser you want to view the source code for the post, and then finding the url to the picture embedded among the HTML code. Then, select the url, copy and then paste it in your browser's URL Address field, and press ENTER. If the url is valid, the picture will load.
Most of us know how to copy the source of a pic and post it, but most free webspace services have the annoying thing of not being able to link pictures.
If I receive replies agreeing to this, I'll make our own album, even our own profiles website where, when mailed, I'll upload the pic in the appropiate profile and then we'll have it for all of us.
