Yes, it has been a while since I last posted here and my absence has not been in vain. For over two years I have been growing my hair now and I have had it cut once, about two months ago. I had a considerable amount taken off the back to even it up all round and to tidy it, get rid of split ends etc.
Unfortunately, I have no pics of my hair after the cut uploaded yet, but here are a few from before it (I hope the links work!).

hey. wow...2 years. can you tell us how long it was when you first decided to grow it?? (i.e, shaved head, buzzcut, in your eyes...?) that would be cool info for us just starting out. (going into month 4...hopefull by New Years Day of 2004 i'll be sporting longer hair)
Well, I started when I was 15 and I never really had VERY short hair as such, it was always an inch or two long.
But I grew it, went through the "awkward stage" and came out of it with pretty long hair, but I did cut it to an equal length all round recently, but I am planning on getting it all back! :-)
It is a long trek, but it is defintely worth it. Stick to it, the chances are you'll have people raining arrows of criticism, maybe even your own friends (like what happened to me) but you shall eventually emerge with hair to be proud of.

I hope you didn't cut too much off! Short hair sucks! Mine is only short because of my job situation looking for work since employers love to discriminate against long hair. If society would accept long haired men as much as short haired men a lot more of us guys would probably wear our hair long. I plan to keep on growing it now that I just got hired at a boat plant.
