Just a little bit of encouragement for you longhairs and future longhairs!
A few weeks ago, my daughter and I just returned from a one-week drumming and dance retreat in Maui and as I think about it, 60% of the men who participated had long hair. It was great. There was long, straight hair; wavy hair; frizzy-curly hair. These men wore there hair in a variety of styles from just a simple ponytail, to braids and one guy who had thick blond hair wore his "samurai" style up in a knot. We drove through the town of Paia where I don't remember seeing anyone with hair above their shoulders (other than tourists). It was nice to witness. I will be back next year.
