My significant other has very dry hair. His hair is mid back and tends to be on the wavy side. About a year ago he dyed is hair, which was a big mistake and this is what we believe to be causing the dryness...Anyone have any idea's?
My hair dry, like that, when I grew mine again a few years ago. Now It's always moist and healthy. Here's what worked for me: I only shampoo 2-3 times per week. I use shampoo-conditioners combos for dry hair. I find Panatine Pro-V works fine. I follow with a good moisturizing conditioner. Out of the shower, I spray, finger, and comb in Infusium 23 leave in conditioner. Then I work in a good moisturizing mousse. It took a long time for the panthanol in these products to transform my hair, but eventually my hair looked great. I also trimmed mine back about 6 inches (to about 6 inches below my shoulders). This seems about the optimum long length for me.
